The City of Oakbrook Terrace retained McGuire Engineers (MEPC) to create an energy model for a new 25,220-square foot, single story, pre-cast concrete facility that would evaluate the overall performance of the building and estimate the energy saving measures compared with ASHRAE 90.1-2004. MEPC’s energy model was submitted as part of the project’s LEED Silver certification.
